Danielle + Anthony’s Sunset Engagement Photos on Lake Ontario

Once Danielle and Anthony had officially booked me to photograph their wedding, it was time to plan their fall engagement photos. We planned to meet up at their family’s cottage on Lake Ontario in hopes of some sunset engagement photos - this beautiful New York evening sure didn’t disappoint! The sunset ended up almost as sweet as their love for each other.

It was such a fun and relaxing evening. We wandered the property, stopping along the way to snap photos anywhere that caught our eye, or anywhere that was special to them. They were so naturally photogenic together and their smiles were so genuine - I had such a blast photographing them.

Danielle’s mom brought along their daughter Daisy, who was just as camera-ready as her parents. We grabbed a few joy-filled family photos between moments of baby giggles. Danielle and Anthony also brought a letterboard so we could take some Save the Date photos. We made sure to get multiple poses that they could use for that.

We found a heart-shaped rock on the lakeshore, which I of course used for some shots of Danielle’s beautiful engagement ring. Once that was done, it was time to wrap things up. They cozied up in a set of Adirondack chairs and enjoyed a few drinks while the sun went down and I took the last shots.

I absolutely can’t wait for their Tailwater Lodge wedding this fall. I know it’s going to be nothing but amazing!
