Engagement: Emily + Chris, Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville, NY

Emily and Chris met through a mutual friend, and they ended up going on a blind date. She was unsure at first at how things would go, but they hit it off! 4 years later and they are inseparable! These two recently bought a house together, and I was so excited to be able to meet up with them at Green Lakes State Park for their engagement session while I was in the middle purchasing my own house!

It was the perfect fall morning. These two told me that they’re a little camera shy, but that was not the case! We had so much fun exploring the park. I gave them prompts to make their experience more natural and not feel awkward. I even learned to carry band-aids with me for photo sessions and weddings from this, so rest assured that I am always prepared!

I just love Green Lakes in the fall - it creates the most stunning backdrops! I can’t wait for their wedding at Wolf Oak Acres!!
