Iceland Elopement! Now don’t tell me those two words didn’t excite you just now?! Well you are in for a treat on the blog today! Kerri Lynne Cole hosted a workshop on value and marketing & planned a styled shoot with Carianne Gunn. And while we didn’t ACTUALLY go to Iceland, would you know that if I didn’t tell you? I arrived at the Farmer’s Cottage at Windridge Estate RedBarn 20 and mingled with the other photographers while we grabbed a seltzer water with blue candy and food off of the beautiful charcuterie board put together by Naomi of Brown Built Rentals.

I learned about creating value in my business and ways to continually show that to all of my future clients. Kerri put together a beautiful booklet for us to work from, and we were given a partner before the workshop to evaluate their business and their perceived value.

They put together an Iceland-style themed photoshoot with deep blue-green hues for us to photograph, which was right up my alley! Kerri led us through a partial wedding day with styling the wedding dress and details before heading outside with our models. It was super windy as everyone was trying to prevent details from falling off the table spread set up outside. We took beautiful images of Lindsay and Joe at RedBarn20 before heading to nearby Delphi Falls!

We finished up as it was starting to get dark and headed back to the Farmer’s Cottage to finish photographing a tablescape that had all of our names on agate, that we were able to take home, and the stunning cakes made by Stacey of The Cakeshop CNY! After that we finished up the day by learning about our why before parting ways for the evening.

I loved this day, and if you get the chance to participate in an educational workshop by Kerri, I highly recommend it!! She pours her heart into teaching and creates an incredible experience.
