Joanna + David || Engagement Session, Beaver Lake

I have known Joanna since about 2nd grade (I think it’s been 20 years!) so when she and David got engaged, I knew I had to do a session for her! The two of them met by chance while they were at the same bible study when Joanna heard someone say the name of her college. That encounter is what prompted their initial friendship that blossomed into more. They currently live in New Jersey (where they’re tying the knot in August & I’ll also be a bridesmaid in the wedding), but while they were home visiting family over Easter, we seized the moment for some photos!

Beaver Lake is close to where I live so we all headed over there to get some sweet photos of them by the water. There is something about photographing childhood friends that brings me so much joy. Enjoy these images, and I can’t wait to party with them near the end of summer!
