Hannah + Ross’ Romantic Engagement Photos at Green Lakes State Park
Green Lakes State Park is truly amazing any time of year, and Hannah and Ross’ romantic engagement photos that I took in February are proof! I met up with the happy couple on a cool but sunny winter day. I loved that there was a little bit of snow on the ground - not enough to need snow boots, but just enough to show off the season. We got so lucky with the sunlight during their session too. It made for some amazing golden cast and sun flares!
Hannah and Ross had fun with the prompts I gave them, and I captured plenty of smiles and laughter between the more intimate photos. It’s so easy to cuddle up with the one you love when everyone’s a little chilly!
We ventured over to the opposite side of the lake to take some photos with the sun and blue water behind them. I absolutely loved how the light was showing off for their session, especially as it started to set and glisten across the water.
I made sure to get a few closeup shots of Hannah’s ring on her hand, then she took it off so I could prop it up with some of the pampas grass that lined the lake. The texture ended up making a stunning background for her ring.
The last spot we hit up was the walkway to Tulip Hill. It’s always a favorite location of mine, and I like using the curve in the road to create some wide shots of the forest. I love ending my sessions there!
Hannah and Ross were such a breeze to work with, and I adore how these images turned out. I can’t wait for their big day this November in Syracuse!
