Kawelo Home Team Real Estate Branding Photography
Marianne of Kawelo Home Team learned about me through a mutual friend and reached out to inquire about branding photography for her Syracuse real estate team. While I’m typically a wedding photographer, I’m always thrilled to schedule non-wedding sessions, especially in the middle of wedding season. It’s such a refreshing and welcome diversion!
As soon as I agreed, Marianne got to work. She poured through their real estate listings to find the perfect home for our session. It was under contract, and once she got approval from the owners to use it, she and I coordinated everyone’s schedules to find a time that worked.
It turned out to be one of the hottest days Syracuse had seen all summer, so we were so thankful to have a beautiful home with working A/C to use as the backdrop for their real estate headshots. We utilized the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and staircase to snap photos of the whole team, along with headshots and lifestyle photos for them to use on their website and social media.
Once we’d gotten the bulk of the work done, we ventured outside for a few shots with a “Sold” sign. Marianne and Wan’que wanted to incorporate some yoga poses into their photos, which turned into some super fun shots. These ladies were a blast to work with, and made my job so easy!
If you’re planning to have branding photography done, keep in mind that props are everything! The Kawela Home Team brought client baskets, drinkware, laptops, business cards, makeup brushes, branded keys, flowers, and more. You can never have too many items to work with, especially if you’re looking for some casual lifestyle photos.
I absolutely loved working with the Kawela Home Team on this shoot. They are such kind people, and clearly very passionate about their work. I just know they would be awesome to work with as realtors. Check them out on Instagram, where they’re always sharing tips on buying and selling your home, along with recommendations of things to do and places to eat around Syracuse. It’s such an honor to see some of my photos on Marianne and Wan’que’s Instagram feeds as well!
