Continuing from my post last week, I was also able to photograph this extended family session! It was actually the same location where Lindsay and Mike got married years ago, on his family’s property! It was such a joy to be able to reconnect with everyone after 3 years for some updated family Christmas photos.

It was a chilly December day, but I am so happy the sun came out to grace us with its golden warmth! For extended family sessions like these, I am sure to get every combination of family members. For example, grandparents with grandkids, just the grandkids, the entire family, each individual family (and dogs too!), and we can’t forget about just the grandparents either as the head of the family!

I just love the kids’ smiles and giggles interacting with their parents. That’s how I strive to make these family sessions! Memories and love above all else by having fun (and getting camera shy kids out of their shells in the process).
