Emily and Cooper’s Chaumont bay Engagement Session

It’s always engagement season! After finding me on Google through my last cottage wedding in Chaumont Bay, Cooper knew he had to reach out to me to photograph his Engagement Session / Proposal to Emily on July 4th! He was traveling to Emily’s family’s cottages for the first time, and he wanted to pop the question while fireworks were going off that night. We thought that it might be hard for me to hide and capture the surprise, so we had planned for me to come the next day to snap some celebratory pictures!

When Brandon and I arrived, it was such a beautiful, sunny day, and you could tell there was excitement in the air. Emily’s family has a couple of cottages where we took pictures by Lake Ontario on the rocks and dock, then we crossed the street to their neighbor’s field for a few more stunning pictures where I could use my prompts for them to just have fun. Before heading back to the lake, I found the prettiest succulents for the ring shot, and we got some pictures with her parents. They celebrated their engagement with champagne as we finished off the session!
