Julia + John, Backyard Wedding, West Monroe, NY

Julia and John got married on the 10th of August at her parents’ house. It was a stunning DIY backyard wedding. The items they used to create this day were found and refurbished to use as wedding decor - the dressers (for donuts!), chairs for outdoor seating and pictures, rugs for the aisle leading up to the ornate black arbor where they said vows. They danced all night long until there was a massive bonfire behind their house.

Heather + Kyle, Marietta, NY

We met up with Heather and Kyle on her family’s farm for their engagement pictures. Heather grew up in her parent’s house, which is just across the street from her grandparents. There were so many different photo opportunities here. We had her grandpa’s classic red Ford Crown Victoria car, a pond, a wagon, tractor, a cornfield, and a grain field too! They made for the dreamiest pictures!

Emily + Wesley, Bad Seed Cider Co, Highland, NY

Now I’m not going to lie, I was not their their wedding photographer, but Emily’s bridesmaid who could not help herself but bring her camera! I snuck them away from dancing for twilight photos by the flowering trees, documented Wesley’s end of the night singing, accompanied by his brother on piano, and captured their sparkler exit.

Amber + Boris, Dibbles Inn, Silver Garden Room, Vernon, NY

When Amber contacted me to photograph her marriage with Boris at the beautiful Dibbles Inn in the Silver Garden Room, I couldn’t wait for it! It was an extremely hot day, but everyone was happy to celebrate this joining of families, despite the heat. Amber has two daughters, and Boris has 2 sons of his own so it was truly a celebration of a new, blended family!

They picked their July 14th wedding date by researching weather patterns in Syracuse and found that this day consistently did not rain. It was the ideal day for their ceremony and dinner on the stunning patio at Francesca’s! Their 4 hour wedding day was amazing!

Elizabeth + Joseph || Hilton Garden Inn, Watertown NY Wedding Photographer

Liz reached out to me shortly after photographing her brother’s wedding last year. You may remember a picture of them with a giraffe? I was so excited for their wedding because it was coming back to family! We went to St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church for their ceremony, then took pictures at family friend’s house to take pictures in their stunning backyard where they took pictures for senior prom. I love that we came back full circle! Liz’s little sister Erin caught the bouquet and guests roasted s’mores before it down-poured for the night!

Victoria + Matthew || Oswego, NY Engagement Session

Tori reached out to me to photograph her wedding, and having known Tori from high school, I was pumped. We used to ride the same bus together, and I’ve always known Tori on being the sweetest person ever. Being able to serve her and Matt for their wedding was a no brainer! We did engagement session before their July wedding in Oswego at the newly updated Breitbeck Park. They even brought their golden retriever pup, and he made the session so much more fun!

Hope || Maternity & Family Session, Oneida Lake

When I learned that my friend Hope was pregnant, I knew that we had to do a session together to commemorate this time. Her little baby is here now, but I’m sure that they will be able to look back on this session with precious memories of their (now) middle son hiding from the camera, and Hope looking like a radiant goddess.
