Aryanna + TJ’s Fall Engagement Photos at Green Lakes State Park

I first met Aryanna and TJ when Aryanna officiated the wedding of TJ’s sister that I photographed. When they initially reached out, they weren’t even engaged yet, but after dating for over eight years (since the 8th grade!) they knew it was only a matter of time. They liked the work I did for Julia & Nate, and decided to book me as their wedding photographer. A couple of days later, TJ popped the question at Letchworth State Park. They immediately texted me a photo of themselves and the ring, and we were all so excited to start the planning process for their fall engagement photos.

We met up at Green Lakes State Park, right at the tail-end of peak fall colors. We started at one of my favorite spots, nestled among the tall trees. The tree cover can make this area feel really dark, which created an awesome cozy backdrop for photos of Aryanna and TJ, surrounded by fallen leaves. These two were such naturals in front of the camera— I knew it was going to be a really fun session! I made sure to get some close ups of them with Aryanna’s stunning engagement ring, then we left to wander the rest of the park.

After eight years together, these two are so connected. I could feel the love radiating from them as I was snapping pictures, and it made for some really special moments. I love the images of them looking out over the lake, like there’s nothing in the world that could ruin what they have.

We found a little spot in the woods completely filled with yellow and orange leaves, both on the trees and piled up beneath our feet. It was the perfect place for some stunning fall engagement photos!

We utilized every bit of Green Lakes State Park for their session, including some dipping photos up by the golf course, which has an amazing view of the entire area. I had so much fun with Aryanna and TJ! Their backyard wedding at their new home is going to be truly amazing!
