Yuki + Morgan’s Winter Wonderland Photos at Tinker Falls
Yuki and Morgan reached out wanting some winter wonderland photos for their engagement session at Tinker Falls. The only problem? Their session was scheduled for March, and as anyone who lives in Central NY knows, this is a notoriously unpredictable time of year. Sun and 70 degrees? Snow and 20 degrees? Who knows what you’ll get! So we set the date and collectively crossed our fingers for a little snow. The weekend arrived and not only did we get a little snow, we got a full-blown snowstorm the night before!
It was such a beautiful drive down to Tully that morning. We arrived at Tinker Falls and were the only ones there, which made their winter photo shoot that much more special and intimate. A friend of theirs had gifted them this session since they had been engaged for 3 years across 3 states. They relocated to Syracuse from the southern U.S. for their jobs, and they really love Central NY winters!
I chatted with Yuki and Morgan and we all got to know each other while I snapped photos of them bundled up and cozy in the glistening snow. We got some pictures with the waterfall in the background. The setting was absolutely perfect for them since they love exploring the outdoors. They commented on how Tinker Falls looks amazing in any season, and I couldn’t agree more!
As we were wrapping up, they wanted to have a snowball fight, and of course, I said "go for it!” Those photos ended up so cute. It was such a pleasure getting to know these two. I always enjoy snapping some winter wonderland photos, so please reach out if you’re interested!
