Wolf Oak Acres Wedding: Emily and Chris, Oneida, NY
Emily & Chris got married at Wolf Oak Acres on a beautiful August day. I loved their engagement session so I knew their wedding would be awesome! As soon as we arrived at Wolf Oak Acres I could feel the excitement in the air as Emily and the girls were getting their hair and makeup done in the upper portion of the barn. We took pictures of them getting ready, the details, and location scouted for Emily’s first looks.
Mermaid Styled Shoot, Syracuse, NY
I’m excited to be bringing you a blog post this week where I can just feel the warm summer air radiating from them! I think in the middle of a CNY winter, we need some warmth and sunshine right about now! It had been so long since I’ve done a creative shoot, and I loved getting the chance to create with Margot, Hannah, and Ashley! It was the perfect mystical, mermaid vision!
Mila, Newborn Session
Emily, Kobe, and Mila came over to my house on a cold winter day, but I made sure to keep the house warm Mila as we were photographing her in front of a large glass door for gorgeous, soft morning light. These first moments and memories are the most precious, even when the baby is crying, only wants to be fed, and wonders what this camera in front of their face is. If you’re able to, a newborn mini session is a perfect way to document this time within the first couple of weeks after they’re born.
Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club Wedding: Jessica + Shadi, Syracuse, NY
This July wedding was perfection! Jessica and I had been talking about their wedding for well over a year. So when Covid hit, there was talk about postponing it and a backup date. Luckily, the wedding was able to happen on the original planned date! This Assumption Church and Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club wedding had the perfect stormy backdrop with traditional Catholic ceremony and Lebanese reception details, and it ended with a stunning sparkler exit!
Chaumont Bay Engagement Session - Emily and Cooper
It’s always engagement season! After finding me on Google, Cooper knew he had to reach out to me to photograph his Chaumont Bay Engagement Session / Proposal to Emily on July 4th! He was traveling to Emily’s family’s cottages for the first time. We took pictures by the lake and in a nearby field, and celebrated with champagne as we finished off the session!
The Cabrey Family, Manlius, NY
Continuing from my post last week, I was also able to photograph this extended family session! It was actually the same location where Lindsay and Mike got married years ago, on his family’s property! It was such a joy to be able to reconnect with everyone after 3 years for some updated family Christmas photos. I just love the kids’ smiles and giggles interacting with their parents. That’s how I strive to make these family sessions! Memories and love above all else by having fun.
Cabrey Family, Brewerton, NY
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to decorate for the Holidays this year! I think after 2020 we all need extra joy. Lindsay and Mike were one of my first wedding couples back in 2016, and last year they had a daughter last year. It was only fitting to reconnect and take holiday photos for them! I always love getting the chance to create new memories with my couples and their families.
Sugar Blossom Cake Shop, Liverpool, NY
I had the chance to photograph their desserts and the lovely owners, Lauren Scarpelli and Kaleigh Ligoci, a couple of months ago as some promotional shots for them! I stopped in last Saturday during their soft launch and picked up a box of goodies. It was amazing to see them, catch up, and admire their shop! I’m already planning my next visit. I highly recommend stopping into their shop. It’s located right in the village of Liverpool.
Adventurous Elopement Styled Shoot, Syracuse, NY
I am so excited to share this blog post! This shoot has been a year in the making. Kim, Jeff, and I were originally planning on having adventurous session after their wedding, but 2020 had other plans. What was going to be an adventure session turned into an elopement styled shoot. With so many couples adjusting their plans because of Covid, I knew I wanted to portray how FUN an elopement can be!
Cazenovia, NY Engagement Session - Jessica and Shadi
Sometimes, no matter how far out you are planning your engagement session, it still doesn’t happen until 2 weeks before your wedding. Jessica booked me back in early 2019 for their wedding, but between our busy schedules, the perfect time for their engagement session wasn’t until 2 weeks before they were set to get married in 2020. I am so glad it worked out like it did! This session does not disappoint!
